This past October, I traveled to New York to accept an Edward R. Murrow Award for a video news documentary the knoxnews.com team produced on the Tea Party movement.
Life has been hectic for me this past year. A few months ago while trying to revamp the site’s appearance (in the midst of other major life events) I ended up crashing and losing my content.
While I slowly build back some of my professional history here, I wanted to start off with a recent, happy event.
This past October, I traveled to New York to accept an Edward R. Murrow Award for a video news documentary the knoxnews.com team produced on the Tea Party movement.
It was our second Murrow Award in two years, and I was thrilled to accept on the team’s behalf.
After the ceremony, I had my picture taken with NBC’s Brian Williams and CNN’s Jason Carroll, who had presented my award – a pretty exciting night for news nerds!
