Curling on Market Square

Members of the Great Smoky Mountain Curling Club demonstate their sport on the rink at Market Square. The group is offering free lessons to beginners on Saturday mornings, from 8-10 a.m.

Farewell, Katie

This month, we lost our online co-worker and friend, Katie Kolt.

As Katie left the Sentinel for sunnier work days (actual day job!), the Randoms and other co-workers said their farewells. We’ll miss her and wish her the best.

Chain saw artists?

Ben King and John Teeple are chain saw artists who carve stumps of wood in tandem. Their latest display is The Last Supper, seen on the Crossville County Courthouse lawn.
