The University of Tennessee took on Temple University (my Dad’s alma mater) Friday night in Knoxville at the newly renovated Thompson-Boling Arena. I was so impressed with the renovations, I had to share some photos:

Kudos to UT. The experience at the Arena really feels like you’re attending a professional sporting event.

Last night around 11 p.m., monthly page views for knoxnews.com and govolsxtra.com hit 10 million. This is the first time we’ve reached that mark since we started using Omniture to track our stats. I have every confidence it’s due to the quality content we produce each day
This past Sunday, I produced this video about Harry Reeve, an instrument repairman who travels the country and fixes stringed instruments. He makes three or four stops a year in Knoxville to repair instruments for area school children and musicians around town.
